My Training

Blog_salmononionEducation and continuous study have equipped me with extensive knowledge in both holistic nutrition and beauty. Working with me  is about improving yourself as a whole. I help my clients to make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of what you need both inside and out, consequently improving your energy, self-image, and personal worth.

My training and formal development as an artist began at the of seven. As a dancer, I studied to become aware of shape, lines, balance, light, movement dynamics, design and continuity. I had no idea these principles would later assist me in designing hair. I attended Boston Ballet School, the Kirov Academy of Ballet, and the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. During my professional career, I specialized in ballroom dance, becoming a United States Finalist. I studied in the UK and Denmark, while teaching throughout the US and Asia. Personally, I believe that travel is one of the best educations of which an artist can be exposed.

That said, I was fortunate to study haircutting and coloring techniques at Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California, receiving a diploma and subsequently my license of cosmetology. I have a bachelor of science in communication from the University of Utah and am a member of the American Association for Drugless Practitioners (AADP). I became a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and numerous diet theories. These theories led me to realize that each person is bio-individual. Therefore, your pantry should be as customized to you as the clothes in your closet.
